SITE SAFETY RULES

A. General Rules
1. All employees are responsible for reading, understanding, and complying with Company safety policies and procedures.
2. All tasks and operations will be accomplished in a safe, workmanlike manner and in accordance with the safe work procedures set forth in the Company safety program or customer’s site safety requirements, whichever is more stringent.
3. Tools and equipment will be used in a safe manner for the purpose for which they are intended, and only by employees who are trained in their safe operation.
4. All tools equipped with guards must be used with functioning guards and in place. Never alter or disable any guard.
5. Inspect all tools and equipment before use.
6. Defective tools and equipment are to be tagged out of service and never used. Immediately report to your supervisor.
7. All extension cords and plug-in style powered equipment must be protected by use of a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter).
8. All work areas will be kept clean and orderly and all materials stored properly.
9. All employees are responsible for reporting unsafe work conditions, faulty equipment, or unsafe acts.
10. All accidents and injuries must be reported to the job supervisor immediately and written accident reports must be completed within twenty-four (24) hours of the accident.
11. The manufacture, distribution, dispensing, use, possession, consumption, sale or being under the influence of controlled substances or alcohol is strictly prohibited on Company property, in company vehicles, at all times on job sites, or when conducting Company business.
12. Firearms and other weapons are prohibited in Company vehicles, on Company property and job sites.
13. Horseplay, practical jokes and similar distractions are dangerous and are strictly prohibited.
14. All employees shall wear personal protective equipment required by the job task or job site.
15. Attendance is required at all Company safety programs and weekly tool box safety talks.
16. Employees should not attempt to work when ill and should report illnesses to the job supervisor.
17. Proper lifting techniques shall be used at all times. Mechanical help or other assistance should be used when lifting loads too heavy or awkward for one person to lift.
18. Verbally or physically abusive behavior is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate removal from the work site.
