6.
VALIDITY 6.1
All permits are valid for the day and time specified, when properly authorized. 6.2
Permit ‘A’ is valid only on the day of issue and revalidation is not permitted for running plants. However, extension of the work on the same day is permitted, with proper authorization. 6.3
The duly authorized permit could be revalidated for maximum seven consecutive days, for an isolated work place or project or in totally shut-down Plants. Such Permit is to be revalidated every day by a nominated Manager / Supervisor of the concerned Plant / Department, responsible for supervising the work on that day. 6.4
Permit ‘A’ would cease to be valid in the event of an Emergency Alarm and all work covered under such Permit must be immediately stopped. 6.5
Permit ‘B’ could be issued for a maximum period of seven consecutive days. However, the permit should be revalidated every day, by a Supervisor of the concerned Plant / Department, responsible for supervising the job on that day. |
