What is the GE Global Star?
The GE Global Star Program is a company-based recognition process that promotes the development, implementation, and operationalization of Safety and Health management systems that meet the company’s expectations.
In the Global Star process, the management teams and employees demonstrate that they have established a cooperative relationship at their sites, and that they have implemented comprehensive and sustainable Safety and Health management systems.
Receiving the GE Global Star is the official recognition by the company for their outstanding efforts for achieving exemplary occupational Safety and Health injury and illness reductions and implementation of world-class Safety and Health management systems.
How Does Global Star Work?
In practice, the Global Star program sets performance-based criteria (GE Health and Safety Framework, injury and illness rates) for a managed Safety and Health system. It invites sites to apply, and then assesses applicants against these criteria. A comprehensive verification of the facilities systems, which includes an application review and a rigorous onsite evaluation by a team of GE Safety and Health experts, is conducted.
Facilities that meet the Global Star requirements, utilizing the GE Health and Safety Framework Scorecard tool (>4.0 per element, >17.2 total score) during the audit, are approved as a GE Global Star site.

The GE Health, Safety & Environmental Protection Policy defines management´s commitment to the health & safety of GE employees worldwide.
In its constant effort to reduce injuries and illnesses, GE Consumer Products Lighting has developed a system to track the effectiveness of its health and safety (H&S) programs, which has become a Lighting best practice in use by other GE businesses, The H&S Framework Scorecard was developed to drive and measure the implementation of an effective H&S management system. The H&S Framework includes a list of probing questions related to each element and sub-element and defines 21 elements that are essential to and must be included in all GE Health & Safety programs worldwide in order to meet the intention of the GE Company policy.
The manuals for the different elements help the safety management of each site prevent workplace injuries.

As a result of implementing the Framework Scorecard, the total recordable rate of injuries and illnesses within GE Consumer Products Lighting Europe has dropped more than 80 percent over the last five years

想下的又不想扣积分的同行也可以直接搜索到的,我当初也是对GE Global Star有个比较粗的了解,后来觉得可能我们公司的体系同它有相似之处,于是想了解具体GE Global Star是怎么样做的,然后就在网上一通猛找,结果被我找到这个PPT,觉得不错就分享到这来了.
你们可以直接用Google搜索:General Electric Company OSHA VPP and GE Global Star Overview.第一个就是,直接下载,不用注册. 我也不用一个一个的去发信了.
百度比较难搜索到,找英文资料还是要用Google.
