The Job Safety Analysis (JSA), also known as a Job Hazard Analysis is a very important and effective process to determine hazardous conditions, unsafe practices, and system weaknesses. Determining the hazards and how to control them before a project or task begins must be an integral part of the workplace environment. A properly executed JSA will provide the highest level of production and quality, while at the same time keeping our employee’s injury free. The JSA breaks the job down into sequential tasks and identifies potential hazards associated with each task. Solutions for hazards are developed that eliminate or control exposure.
