There are “twelve don’ts” before operating fire, “four dos” during operation fire and “one clear” after operating fire in places that have been authorized to operate fire.“twelve don’ts” before operating fire: 1) Do not operate fire without authorization or fire permits; 2) Do not operate fire without implementing fire prevention or fire extinguishing measures; 3) Do not operate fire without clearing combustible sundries around; 4) Do not operate fire without taking reliable isolation measures for
inflammable structure and valuable equipments around that are hard to move; 5) Do not operate fire in areas where oil vehicle and oil vessel stop; 6) Do not operate fire before pressure containers or pipes releasing pressure; 7) Do not operate fire before clearing containers and pipes that have stored combustible and explosive articles (esp. oil including edible oil and its oil dirt); 8) Do not operate fire without getting rid of combustible and explosive risk in workshop, storage and areas where have stored inflammable and explosive articles; 9) Do not operate fire without clearing combustible articles or taking reliable isolation measures when welding or incising in high attitude; 10) Do not operate fire when there is other work interferes with operating fire (ex. Asphalt(um), adhesive bitumen primer, paint, oil cleaning machine member etc.) nearby and there’s not safety distance and safety time space between them; 11) Do not operate fire in case that wind degree is above 5 and no reliable wind prevention methods have been taken when operating in the open air; 12) Do not operate fire before finding reasons for fire risk unnatural conditions and eliminating the risk. |
