HSE Manager-experience in shipyard
Responsibility:
•Generate and update on EHS program and standards.
•Conduct day-to-day routine EHS activities for the maintenance of Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EMS).
•Organize and conduct EHS training, promotional or other communication activities to enhance EHS competence and awareness amongst employees.
•Organize and ensure timely EHS inspections and audits are carried out, findings are rectified and closed appropriately.
•Liaise with the relevant authorities and/or external organizations to ensure that the legal and other requirements are up to date and that the organization is adhering to them.
•Conduct risk assessment and environmental aspect evaluation with relevant department heads to identify, control and manage risks and aspects to their lowest, acceptable levels.
•Review management programs, targets and objectives and ensure that the organization meets the established targets and objectives.
•Overall control of hazardous substances, contractors and work permits.

At least 5 years experience in shipyard and gas or oil industry specializing in HSE management .OSHA awareness and communication of National HSE Standards.  
Fluent in both speaking and writing
Approach to team building and commitment to the safety of all contractors and employees.
