作为一个从事EHS工作多年的人,英语不好真是心中永远的痛.

看不懂还能用谷歌,可是听不懂呢,只能靠那些不懂EHS的翻译,

但那不是翻译,那简直就是在打仗,

老板要求要写一份专业的英文报告,当回答是否的时候,

就再也没有回答的机会了

所以,为了未来能更好的从事这份工作,英语是不得不跨过的坎,

今天,在此勉励自己也警示他人:机会永远留给有准备的人

Stationary Combustion
combustion of fuels in stationary equipment such as boilers, furnaces,burners, turbines, heaters & etc.
Mobile Combustion
combustion of fuels in transportation
devices such as automobiles, trucks, buses, trains, airplanes, vessels, etc.
Process Emission
Emissions from physical or chemicalProcesses such as PFCs, SF6 & etc.
Fugitive Emissions
equipment leaks from joints, coal piles, wastewater treatment, pits, cooling towers, gas processing facilities, etc.
Scope 2 emissions (Indirect Emission)
From the generation of purchased electricity consumed by the company.
Purchased electricity is defined as electricity that is purchased or otherwise brought into the organizational boundary of the company
Scope 3 emissions(Indirect Emission)
Extraction and production of purchased materials; transportation of purchased fuels; and use of sold products and services

温室气体排放源的范围包括：供货商制造厂地所涉及的范畴一和范畴二
范畴一排放（直接排放）
固定燃烧
固定设备使用燃料燃烧过程中产生的，如设备锅炉，窑炉，燃烧器，涡轮机，热水器等。
移动燃烧
交通运输设备使用燃料燃烧的过程中产生的，如设备（如汽车，卡车，公共汽车，火车，飞机，船舶等）
过程排放
物理或化学制程中产生的排放，如全氟碳化物，六氟化硫等等
散逸性排放
从公司的设备连接处泄漏，煤堆，废水处理，矿坑，冷却塔，废气处理设施等活动中产生的逸散排放
范畴2排放量（间接排放）
因本公司外购电力产生的其它公司的温室气体排放
在购买或以其它方式纳入该公司的组织边界被定义为外购电力电力
范围3的排放量（间接排放）
原材料的提取，生产，购买，运输和交付产品与服务过程中产生的温室气体排放

其实简单的来说就是识别并评估我们工作的场所及从事的活动可能给环境和员工的安全健康带来的风险的状况并管控它们.

10.8客戶對環境管理的要求一（英文）
5.1 Environmental management system
Supplier shall have an environmental management system (EMS) ensuring effective planning,
operation and control of environmental aspects. The EMS shall align with the requirements of
ISO14001 or other internationally recognized standards. Supplier shall be well-informed about
environmental legislation, applicable regulations and customer requirements, and be able to provide evidence of compliance. The EMS shall include environmental risk audits, improvement targets and programs, necessary employee training and communication, internal audits and management reviews.
5.1.1 EMS certification
Supplier’s EMS shall be certified as compliant with ISO14001 or Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).

A near miss is an unplanned event that did not result in injury, illness, or damage – but had the potential to do so. Only a fortunate break in the chain of events prevented an injury, fatality or damage; in other words, a miss that was nonetheless very near. Although the label of 'human error' is commonly applied to an initiating event, a faulty process or system invariably permits or compounds the harm, and should be the focus of improvement. Other familiar terms for these events is a "close call", or in the case of moving objects, "near collision" or a near hit.

Occupational safety and health (OSH)
Occupational safety and health (OSH) is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. The goals of occupational safety and health programs include to foster a safe and healthy work environment.[1] OSH may also protect co-workers, family members, employers, customers, and many others who might be affected by the workplace environment.
Occupational safety and health can be important for moral, legal, and financial reasons. Moral obligations would involve the protection of employee's lives and health. Legal reasons for OSH practices relate to the preventative, punitive and compensatory effects of laws that protect worker's safety and health. OSH can also reduce employee injury and illness related costs, including medical care, sick leave and disability benefit costs. OSH may involve interactions among many subject areas, including occupational medicine, occupational hygiene, public health, safety engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry, health physics, ergonomics and occupational health psychology.
