This year SK networks and Methanex build the strategic cooperation, Methanex authorize SK networks (Shanghai) as their Methanol sales agent in Northern Shandong while Dragon Crown still the agent in South China. Cargo is from hub in South Korea and delivered to customer by truck via shore tank in Tianjin port, so the purpose of this visit is to investigate the shore-tank and jetty to support their market strategy.
Mr Lee introduced that at current status SK networks (Shanghai) already finalize the cargo source and customers, if Methanol logistic can be settled smoothly the first cargo will arrive this August. The customers are concentrated in Dongying area (North Shandong province).  For these customers who buy Northwest Methanol, SK would exchange import cargo with Northwest suppliers who sale methanol to local market by this means save the truck delivery cost of North West to North Shandong. Both Tianjin and Dongying port are the options of Methanol import terminal location for Sk networks (Shanghai).
